This beautiful girl was an absolute dream!! Her gorgeous full head of hair, sweet little lips, and those tiny little rolls!!! I also enjoyed working with her sweet and beautiful momma (and dad!) from the moment we started messaging to her ordering appointment!!
I truly have the best clients and am so grateful for each subject I get the pleasure of photographing!!
I cant believe my sweet nephew Jones is already a whole year old!! It truly has flown by and it feels like he was just born yesterday. I have been so thankful to capture every milestone of his first year like his first smiles, sitting up, standing, and of course celebrating his first birthday with a smash cake!
He was the perfect and most adorable subject ever and words cant express the love I have for him!!
Happy birthday sweet boy!!
Oh this sweet baby boy! I am so privileged to be his professional photographer every few months on his baby plan!! I can’t wait to see him at his next session!
Although I love to have babies in my studio, I will, on a rare occasion, do an in-home newborn session.
I prefer studio sessions because I can control the lighting. Being in studio allows me to switch up the lighting and offer multiple options. It’s also convenient to have all my props, wraps, headbands, and extensive wardrobe close by!
Not everyone is able to come into the studio so in order to meet client’s needs I try and work out whatever I can! In-home sessions can have advantages as well. Sometimes, clients are more relaxed in their own environment at home. These sessions are less structured and more documentary style, without as much posing, and limited props, but we can include things that may not be as easy to transport. Such as special rooms, or toys, and even pets!
I prefer the controlled environment my studio has to offer, but I also want to find ways to be flexible and work with all my client’s needs. Sometimes that includes coming to you!
Beautiful little Briella was such a perfect doll for this newborn session!!!
She kept her parents awake the whole night before hand, so I know they were exhausted, but sleepy babies are perfect for getting those darling shots! She was just an angel the whole time!
I am OBSESSED with the vintage lacy outfit and bonnet set she is wearing below! It’s so delicate and beautiful and looked perfect on this delicate beautiful baby!
She really looks just like a baby doll and I was simply delighted that I got to dress her up in so many different colors, textures, and try different styles. I still can’t believe sometimes that this is my JOB!!!! I’m so blessed! I can’t wait to get your Newborn session booked today!
One of the concerns mommas come to me with is “have I waited too long for my baby’s newborn session???” My answer is almost always NO!
This session is a prime example!! I believe sweet baby Isla was already around 4-6 weeks old when we had her newborn session and she did so well!! I work at baby’s pace and take their cues on sleeping and being comfortable, so almost every single time, I get them to fall asleep to get those sweet sleeping images.
This is not to say that I don’t suggest newborn sessions to be held around day 6 to 21 after being born however. And that is due to them being more sleepy in those early weeks, as well as documenting their tiny-ness because they get big so very quickly!!
So don’t hesitate to reach out for a newborn session all the way up to 6-8 weeks! Contact me HERE for more info and to set up your session today!
How absolutely STUNNING is this momma and her family?!! When Lizbeth came in, I immediately knew that she would rock her session!! I can’t wait to see just how beautiful her new little baby girl is!
