Y’all! Sweet little Sally took just a little bit of time to warm up to me, but I’ll tell you once she did, we became fast friends! Her mama and sweet grandma “Toppy 😍 came in to our session and I have to say that we truly became fast friends too! I know I say it all the time, but sometimes when I meet certain clients we truly just click!
This family was also full of the best nicknames in the world. I thought I adored the name Toppy but when I found out that Sallie‘s nickname is Presh, I tell you I died 🥰🥰
With our session we were able to get lots of different outfits as well as backdrops but all stayed very cohesive with the beautiful warm tones. I love that I have a full wardrobe for my families tomorrow from, but I still love whenever clients bring in their own things as well. They had such a cute daisy dress for Sally to wear that I thought about stealing from them lol! It just looks so cute on her and I was glad that I got to get some images with that as well. Seriously the cutest!!

This little darling turned ONE! It has been such a treat watching her grow! This is my favorite part about offering milestone sessions! I get the absolute privilege of capturing so many special moments for my clients! I can’t get enough of those cheeky smiles and those little teeth!!! There is just something different about that “last” baby. They seemed to be babyed longer, snuggled just a little harder, given just a tad bit more patience and seen through different eyes. I think it’s because after having your first, or more than one, baby, most of us are in “survival mode”. Where it is stressful and new and goes by wayyyy fast. When that “last” baby comes around though, you already know those things like that babies don’t break quite as easily. But most importantly, you know just how much a thief time is and that sometimes its okay to snuggle them just a little longer, or sniff the top of their heads as a newborn because sadly, the smell fades.
I think that is the biggest appeal for me as a newborn and baby photographer. I have the experience as a momma that my baby’s sweet smell fades just a little. And they only have one first smile, first birthday, and first photoshoot. I always strive to beautifully photograph those moments that are fleeting yet beyond beautiful.

Oh my goodness! Sweet little Nile is so stinking cute! I still can’t get over all of his sweet features. I was so honored to be able to go to his home to do his family in one year session.
I feel like sometimes when I meet certain clients, there’s just a click that happens! That definitely happened here! This sweet family could not have been any better of a fit and I truly cannot wait to work with them in the future! I’m pretty sure everyone can agree that Nile could be a model as well as mom and dad! Not to mention their home is straight out of a movie!

This sweet baby girl could not be any cuter!! And would you just look at her beautiful family :) Her big brother Grayson could seriously be a child model and he was so sweet with his brand new baby sister. I have such an honor being able to capture the sweet moments of a family welcoming a new baby.!

Milestone sessions are always so much fun and I had the honor of celebrating two of them in this session!
The one-year cake smash session was the cutest! I always like to start with several casual shots to give the little one time to get used to the camera and play a bit. It’s also nice to have a few clean shots before we get messy with cake! There is no better way of ending a session than with a cake! As you can see, this little one did not want to get messy but we still got some sweet images, and of course she enjoyed a few bites!
We did a glitter session to celebrate big sister turning 5 and it was so magical! Let me tell you, Glitter sessions were made for little girls! This session turned out so whimsical and darling! Everybody loves a little sparkle and the glitter wasn’t the only thing shining that day!
I use larger glitter so it doesn’t get in their eyes or nose while being tossed all over the place. It also really pops on camera! Honestly the clean-up for this session was crazy, but it was so much fun and turned out gorgeous!
